X-Bond Microcement is a hand-applied cementitious finish crafted from natural stone and latex polymer, applied at just 2–3mm over existing substrates. No demolition. No new floors. Just a refined, seamless result over what's already there.
Suitable for floors, walls and joinery across residential and commercial projects, X-Bond Hybrid is the only CodeMark certified microcement in Australia — waterproof, stain resistant, mould resistant, UV resistant and available in 20+ colours. It's the surface finish that architects and designers specify by name, and the one that contractors rely on to deliver.

Our courses are designed for trade professionals who specialise in surface finishes — including solid plasterers, renderers, venetian plaster applicators, concreters, epoxy floor finishers and other professional floor and wall finish trades. If you’re looking to expand your services to include either X-Bond & Quartz Carpet installation then our certification courses are for you.

To become certified, you must attend in-person training at our Seamless Overlays Melbourne Warehouse.

Both courses are held in-person at our Melbourne warehouse — 329 Darebin Road, Thornbury VIC 3071. All training takes place under controlled conditions with hands-on application supervised by our experienced team.

Courses run fortnightly at our Melbourne facility. The X-Bond Microcement course runs as a full day, and the Quartz Carpet course runs as a half day — they are often scheduled together so interstate attendees can complete both in one trip.

Our courses are intentionally kept small — a maximum of 6 people per session. This ensures every attendee gets hands-on time and personalised guidance from our trainers.

Wear work-appropriate clothing and footwear you don't mind getting product on. All materials, tools and protective equipment are provided. We'll also provide lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

On completion of your course you become an X-Bond and/or Quartz Carpet Certified Installer. You'll gain access to our B2B portal with wholesale pricing on all relevant materials, ongoing technical support from our team, and the ability to use the "X-Bond Certified Installer" credential in your business marketing. As you establish a track record of regular ordering and installations, our team will assess your work and — where we're confident in the quality and consistency of your installs — you'll be invited to be listed on our Find an Installer page to receive direct lead referrals from Seamless Overlays.

Trade Access is a program that allows experienced trade professionals to purchase X-Bond Hybrid materials and access our online instructional video library without attending in-person training in Melbourne. It's designed for renderers, plasterers, tilers and other surface finish professionals who want to work with X-Bond Hybrid on their own projects, as well as homeowners who have a trusted tradesperson they'd like to use.

Certified installers attend in-person training at our Melbourne facility, have their work verified by our team, and can receive direct lead referrals from Seamless Overlays. They also purchase materials at wholesale pricing. Trade Access members can only purchase X-Bond Hybrid materials at retail pricing, do not receive lead referrals, and cannot use the "X-Bond Certified" credential in their marketing. Trade Access is a flexible entry point — not a certification pathway.

Trade Access is best suited to experienced trade professionals — including renderers, plasterers, tilers, concreters and other surface finish specialists — who have the skills to apply cementitious or resin-based finishes.
