Our family-owned business is based in Melbourne, where our team caters to clients based all over the country. We’ve trained a network of microcement installers across Australia, most recently opening a second warehouse in Queensland to keep up with demand.
THE PRODUCT
X-Bond Microcement est. 1999
X-Bond was the original microcement, engineered in the US in 1991 and brought to the Australian market by our team eight years later. Tried, tested, and trusted for over 25 years — our microement boasts a rich history unmatched by any other.
Made of natural stone and latex polymer mixed together to create a cement consistency, X-Bond is hand-troweled over an existing substrate to create a concrete-looking seamless surface with the following benefits:
Hand trowelled at 2-3mm thick over an existing substrate — for remodel without removal

THE RANGE

Our range comes in four different texture finishes providing tailored solutions for all kinds of projects. Whether you want a non-slip flooring for your pool area, a feature wall for your external facade, or a durable floor finish through your entire home, X-Bond can do it all.
Hybrid
Hand-applied and then sanded for a smooth finish with subtle cloudy tonal variations created by visible trowel marks. Light texture and colour variation similar to polished concrete but with a matte, soft finish.
Mineral
If you’re after a highly textured wall finish, or an anti-slip floor, X-Bond Mineral Finish is for you. X-Bond is sprayed onto the existing surface with a spray gun, creating a stucco-like look.
Blade
X-Bond Blade is for external floor applications only. The X-Bond is applied with a blade, creating chatter marks. The chatter marks create a textured surface to achieve a higher slip rating.
Natural Concrete
The perfect finish for your feature wall, each X-Bond Natural Concrete finish is unique. The X-Bond is first sprayed onto the wall. To finish, a trowel is passed over it to create smooth and textured areas throughout.

In Melbourne, you can view X-Bond in-person by visiting our showroom where we have large samples on display. Plus, our sales team will be on-hand to answer any product questions! We also have X-Bond flooring, walls, and joinery installed across our entire offices — including bathrooms. Ask us to give you the tour.
If you’re not based in Melbourne, or can’t make it to the showroom, we can also provide you with the location of public works featuring X-Bond in your area. There are plenty of retail, hospitality, and commercial projects around Australia.
