  • X-Bond can only be installed by trained installers. There are installers around Australia who have different levels of experience working with X-Bond. For any project enquiries, quotes, samples or technical questions get in touch with an installer near you by Finding An Installer here.

  • We only sell products to trained installers. If you’re looking to have X-Bond installed in your project, please contact a trained installer by clicking here and reach out to them for an installation quote. • Yes, as X-Bond is a hand trowelled product, trowel marks, movement, texture and colour variation are all a natural characteristic of the X-Bond finish, and is what makes this finish so unique. Each installer has a different trowel hand and the finish of X-Bond can differ from project to project.

  • X-Bond has excellent water resistance properties. As it is a concrete coating, when installed in wet areas a waterproofing membrane is required to be installed first to any wet areas by a professional waterproofer. A certificate of compliance for waterproofing is required prior to any X-Bond installation. Alternatively you can speak to your X-Bond Installer about using our own Liquid Waterproof Membrane which works excellently with X-Bond as it has advanced anti-fracture and waterproof properties.

  • Unlike other Microcement toppings, X-Bond is suitable for a range of external applications including building facades, footpaths, balconies/terraces, pool decks and pools (you heard us right, X-Bond can even be applied inside a pool!)

  • Yes. X-Bond Microcement allows you to remodel existing floor or wall surfaces (we’re looking at you - outdated bathroom tiles) without removal.
